Mia spent three years in Journalism writing for The Shield. Mia’s favorite articles are those in her “The Traveling Cart” column, where she picked a country and explored its history through its cuisine, and Op/Eds, where she thoroughly researched a topic she’s passionate about. She’s also had a lot of fun with satires! In her free time, Mia crafts, reads, listens to the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtracks, and writes. Mia is now attending Virginia Tech for Mechanical Engineering—go Hokies!
