Emi Gruender
Sophomore
This is Emi’s first year in journalism , though she has written a couple of articles before actually joining the class. Her primary interest is in writing fiction, (though finishing a story is a struggle), but in the Shield, she likes to make comic and write silly articles about her interests at the moment. She loves to make people laugh, but also has a deep interest in Environmental Science and civil justice. Emi’s involved in the environmental clubs at Westmont and the Theatre program as well. She’s excited to get to know students of Westmont (and the Shield) better this year!
