Senior
Emi was a senior and one of the editors for The Shield 2025-2026, and she had a blast getting to know the next generation of our beloved newspaper. With The Shield, she headed a local travel column affectionately dubbed The Daily Explorer, and enjoyed writing off-kilter articles and even further off-kilter short stories. She has been lucky enough to find her passions in creative writing and performing arts, and attends UCLA with a major in Musical Theatre starting Fall 2026. She loves geese, overly-caffeinated beverages, and a good session of Dungeons and Dragons. She will miss The Shield very much, and leaves behind a legacy of 148 articles, a 19-issue column, 4 comics, and a word count of 104k words written. 🪿🌻🌿🤸♀️🎭🚗✏️
