This is Sydney ‘s first year journalism but she is loving it so far! Her favorite part about journalism is the community. She loves how journalism offers the ability to meet new students and teachers, whether it’s interviewing them or just getting to know them through The Shield. Sydney is very involved in the sports community here at Westmont. She plays on the field hockey team, basketball team and track team. She also played one season of Westmont soccer during her junior basketball season and hopes to do the same thing this year! Her favorite page to work on, not surprisingly, is the Westmont Sports Page which she had three articles for last issue.
