This is Gio’s third year taking Journalism. He appreciates the positive environment his peers bring, and loves writing and filming for The Shield. Gio can be seen writing funny, family-friendly articles, while also filming a new addition to journalism known as the pop culture video every issue featuring familiar faces around campus with Juniors Delaney Pound and Roman Soto; he’s also a host on journalisms podcast known as The SWORD. On campus, Gio can be seen taking part in many clubs such as Baking Club, Warrior Med Club, Environmental Advocacy Club, and the Jewish Culture Club.
