The Best Netflix TV Shows of 2022

By Emily Burich

So many incredible TV shows have come out on Netflix this year, so why not a list full of the best ones?  This list isn’t in any specific order, these are just some of the greatest TV shows from Netflix in 2022!

  1. Season 4 of Stranger Things

After three long years, Stranger Things is finally back with its fourth season. The new episodes follow Eleven adjusting to a new home in California—wistfully writing to Mike about their reunion over spring break. Guess what? Chaos emerges with explosions and a horrifying new villain.

  1. The Watcher

The Watcher is based on real events, following a family that moves into a seemingly perfect suburban home. But when the family receive threatening letters in the mail from someone named “The Watcher,” they quickly realize they’re in for some trouble.

  1. Wednesday

Smart, sarcastic and a little dead inside, Wednesday Addams investigates a murder spree while making new friends and foes at Nevermore Academy.  Starring Jenna Ortega, the series follows Wednesday as she navigates through her physic powers and solves mysteries.

  1. Heartstopper

Teens Charlie and Nick discover their unlikely friendship might be something more as they navigate school and young love.

  1. Dahmer

The story of one of the most notorious serial killers in the United States, largely told from the point of view of his victims.

  1. Season 3 of Never Have I Ever

So the third time really is a charm! After having a chaotic personality in seasons 1 and 2, Devi is finally mature about things and not causing trouble or wreaking havoc in the lives of those around her. The Netflix hit finds its silly-sad sweet spot in its third season, with comedy, drama, and oh-so-much romance in perfect harmony.

  1. Seasons 4 and 5 of All American

As season 4 of All American begins, the characters are starting their college journey.  Spencer begins playing college football, doing brand deals, and all sorts of new ventures.  The characters learn more about themselves and their passions in both seasons.  Music, football, and drama — all things to expect in the newest seasons of All American.

  1. Season 2 of Bridgerton

Yes, Bridgerton is back with season 2. And luckily, we don’t need to rely on any gossip from Lady Whistledown to get a run-down on what the episodes entail. This season focuses on Anthony Bridgerton, the eldest son who’s become more focused on duty than love.

  1. Season 2 of Love is Blind

A reality dating show that seemed to be perfect for love during the start of Covid-19 when it debuted in 2020, Love Is Blind returned for another season of pod romances. The new season followed its previous format—in which contestants got to know one another without being able to see each other, but don’t worry: this season sees plenty of new twists.

  1. Season 4 of Ozark

Years ago, most of us wouldn’t have imagined that the next nail-biting thriller on television would star Jason Bateman. However, this spring, America’s favorite criminal couple faced the end of their scheming in the fourth season of Ozark

  1. Season 5 of Cobra Kai

Season 4 ended with a rather huge twist and a few cliffhangers. Well, Season 5 doesn’t take long to get you right back into the show’s events and doesn’t pause much throughout the entire series.
