Serena Williams Retires

40 year old Serena Williams confirmed her shocking retirement from tennis. Williams is retiring to focus on being a mother to her daughter Olympia and considering expanding her family with husband Alexis Ohanian. It is looking like this year’s U.S. Open, a major tennis tournament, will be Serena’s final tournament before her retirement, though she is not entirely sure. She is ready to move on and focus on her family, but tennis has been her whole life for so long, and leaving it behind will be difficult.

The Powerhouse of College Football

Someone needs to discuss this year’s powerhouses of college football teams because the season is just around the corner. After a few years of being a mediocre team, The University of Southern California appears to be a major contender in the PAC-12. After a crazy offseason, Lincoln Riley quit his position as head coach at Oklahoma to take the same position at USC. With his move, he also brought a significant player with him, Caleb Williams, the former Oklahoma starting quarterback who entered the transfer portal to follow his head coach at USC.
