Every October, Austin, Texas transforms a simple park into a destination for music lovers from across the country as an annual Austin City Limits Music Festival. Known for its diverse lineup, crazy crowds, and iconic performances, ACL brings people together through music and lets people experience the festival of a lifetime.
Over two weekends, thousands of people come together to see artists across multiple genres, including pop, indie, alternative, rock, and house music. From established headliners to underground artists, the festival offers something for nearly everyone.
One of the greatest things about ACL is its ability to bring completely different communities together. Fans can spend the afternoon listening to smaller artists before making their way to the main stages for some of the festival’s bigger performances. The 2026 lineup featured major artists such as Charli XCX, RÜFÜS DU SOL, Lorde, The Chainsmokers, Skrillex, and Twenty One Pilots.
Beyond the music, the festival is just as much about the atmosphere. Zilker Park becomes filled with colorful outfits, festival fashion, food stands, photo opportunities, and crowds moving between stages. Whether people come for their favorite headliners or simply to enjoy the experience with friends, there is always something happening.
This year’s festival also marked a major milestone, celebrating its 25th anniversary. Since its beginning in 2002, ACL has grown into a major event, featuring more than 100 performances across two weekends.
Ultimately, Austin City Limits is more than just a music festival. It is a celebration of music and creativity. With unforgettable performances and an atmosphere unlike any other, ACL continues to prove why it remains one of the most anticipated music festivals of the year.
