Sophomore Year I’m Thankful For…

By Haley Kim

As an incoming sophomore, my sister told me that sophomore year was her hardest year in high school. I was so nervous about getting a terrible grade in English 2 Honors or getting a 3 on the AP World History exam in May. But as the school year comes to an end, I realize that I had so many more good times than stressful memories. Here are all the most memorable and thankful memories from this school year:

  • The AP World History Exam DBQ (thank you so much)
  • Filming Journalism videos with Naomi Volinsky and Josie Barker
  • Weight room days with Zero G Club
  • Bryce Hadley acting out characters in Lord of the Flies while standing on a desk and swinging a bat around
  • Competition to get the lunch table against some juniors
  • Cutting Lucky Felder’s hair
  • Playing with slime on the lunch table
  • Filming 1st semester WHAP final about foot binding with Josie Barker
  • Bedazzling erasers with friends in math class
