Summer is coming in quick,
the random rain is just a trick
School is ending and some may go
but they will succeed, we all know
AP testing, then finals after
once it all passes our lives will be full of laughter.
We are all excited for warm, happy times
summer always feels like we are in our primes
Travel and naps will fill up our days
the end of school is great in so many ways
I will miss my friends, especially those who are leaving
their times have come, yet I won’t spend time grieving
My heart is full of love and pride
all I would like is to stay by their side
It feels like we are all ready for some new adventures
surely, we will be ready when summer break enters.
