Feng Ze Yuan: Divine Dim Sum

By Henry Hansen

On March 21st, I went to Feng Ze Yuan Restaurant in San Francisco. It is a dim sum restaurant that I cannot wait to return to. My personal favorite dish is the Steamed BBQ Pork Buns; they come in sets of three and cost $5.50 per plate. The soft and comforting feeling of taking a bite into one of these is a feeling simply unable to be replicated. For six people, we spent $195 in total, and the food was divine. The flavors dive onto my tongue and deliver me to a heaven that I could never have dreamed of. It opens at 10:30 am, and the address is 4401 Balboa St, San Francisco, CA 94121. The drive to go is pretty far, but it is more than worth it. The atmosphere and service are both top-class; I have never felt more at home than when I was sitting in this restaurant. I have never gone to a restaurant that is as homegrown and homey as this. This restaurant is a staple in the local community, and swarms of locals come in at 10:30 am every day just to enjoy the beautiful experience that this restaurant provides. I give it an extremely high recommendation, not only because of the food, but because of its importance in the community.
