Keeping Up With Chloe

By Penny Nunes

Chloe Philip, a snazzy Sophomore that everyone knows and loves, not just for her bubbly personality…but for her sublime style. Receiving a flood of questions every day about where she gets her clothes from, she is a fashion icon right here on our very own campus. She dresses herself wearing colors that represent her inner self, and accessories that go perfectly with her outfit, she lights up any room she enters–and I’m not surprised since she is from New York! Chloe’s remarkable fashion sense keeps us all wondering how she does it–so here are the questions we’re all dying to know!

Describe your style in three words:

“I would say diverse, simple, and versatile.”

Who is/are your fashion icons?

“Honestly, I usually take inspiration from the girls I see on Pinterest and TikTok.”

What is a go-to item in your closet?

“I love to go for a graphic tee when I feel like I have nothing to wear because I think that they’re always so cool and interesting and they can express what kind of a person you are and what you like.”

Where do you get your clothes from?

“Some stores I like to shop at right now are Urban Outfitters and Free People, but I also love thrifting and my favorite place to get clothes is from my parents’ closet.”

What is a fashion trend you love?

“A couple fashion trends I love are layering, chunky jewelry, and maximalist accessories!”

What is a fashion trend you hate?

“I don’t particularly hate any fashion trends but I’m not fond of capri pants. Although, I might just be saying that because that length of pants makes me look even shorter than I am.”

What are some fashion tips you have?

“One fashion tip I have is that belts can be used not only to keep your pants up. They’re such a fun way to accessorize easily!”
