On December 10, Field Hockey hosted our annual banquet in the cafeteria. Unlike every other year, we did not have dinner during the banquet, but some of us made desserts for our teammates! Some brought cookies, cake, or donuts, but there were many others to choose from. Let’s take a look!

On my plate (left), there was a random strawberry, a raspberry turnover, a rice crispy treat, two brownies, and a cookie my mom made. On Emily Hou’s plate (right), there was a sugar cookie, a cookie my mom made, a different rice crispy treat, chips, and a raspberry turnover. We decided to take one of everything we could and taste most of them together. For me, my favorite dessert was the rice krispy treat on Emily’s plate! We suspected there to be caramel inside but that was just a hunch. I also enjoyed my mom’s cookie and the strawberry on my plate. Emily brought the raspberry turnover, and that was also quite good! The brownie I tried was also pretty good, but they are usually not my favorite, so I can’t give a fair review. I also enjoyed the rice krispy on my plate since my dear friend, Natalie Goh made them. Overall, this banquet was so much fun and we are all so excited to play field hockey again next season!
