Billie Eilish Concert

By Delaney Pound

On November 22, I had the pleasure of attending Billie Eilish’s second to last concert of her Hit Me Hard and Soft tour with my dear friend, Mia Donato! Billie Eilish played at the Chase Center in San Francisco and it was an amazing experience. Mia and I were slightly unprepared with no planned outfit and 5 minutes to curl my entire head of hair… but we managed! The show itself was sort of unreal because Billie Eilish is so talented, and seeing her perform in person was a full circle moment for us—Mia had already seen one of her previous shows of this tour, but I had never seen her perform before. She has such a unique sound and style that really sets her apart from a lot of musicians in the industry. I have been listening to her since I was about ten years old, so finally seeing her in person was a really great experience. All of her songs are so incredible, but I especially enjoyed “L’amour De Ma Vie,” “What Was I Made For,” “Guess,” and “Happier Than Ever.” Truthfully, I was really hoping she would play “TV,” because it’s my favorite song of hers, but she played it in her following show. Overall, this concert was so much fun and I’m so grateful to Mia that she invited me to go with her.
