Especially in the last few years, jerseys of all sorts, but more specifically soccer jerseys, have taken the fashion world by storm. Accessorized with jewelry, baggy jeans, and iconic shoes, soccer jerseys have slowly but surely been incorporated into the fashion world.
Over the years, I have collected an abundance of jerseys wearing them anywhere from practice to school. I’ve always enjoyed the dynamic nature of a soccer kit and always love looking for more as both the technology and designs advance. Here are some of my top picks from some of my favorite teams.
- Y-3 Japan Home Kit 2024-2025 – A breathtaking and stunning blue, the Y-3 Japan home kit is my absolute favorite jersey. Collaborating with Y-3, a brand that combines both fashion and sport, Japan’s national team jersey is artful, unique, and unforgettable. Contrasting the dark navy of the base, the light blue flames, hand painted by Yohji Yamamoto, create a lasting impression on fans and deserve to be placed in a museum.
- Nike Bay FC Home Kit 2025-2026 – While Bay FC’s inaugural jersey was nothing short of disappointing, their second season’s kit made headlines. A navy blue base with poppy orange colored detailing on the shirt, although the colors, upon first thought, do not blend well together, the jersey surprises most with its iconic, unique flares of style.
- Nike Barcelona Home Kit 2022-2023 – Barcelona’s kit for the 22-23 season was nothing but iconic. With the dark navy blue framing, gold accents for the Nike and Spotify logos, and perfectly balanced stripes, this jersey was a fan favorite both on and off the pitch.
- Adidas Japan Home Kit Women’s World Cup 2023 – Adidas did an undeniably excellent job with their kits for the Women’s World Cup. Inspired by the wondrous nature of Japan, specifically the magical cherry blossoms, Adidas paid its due to the iconic blossoms in this kit.
