If you like cookie dough, but don’t want the salmonella try these incredible edible cookie dough recipes! All three were easy to put together and required minimal ingredients. The most complicated step was cooking the flour, which simply required four 30-second rounds in the microwave. Our favorite was the normal cookie dough because of its delectable texture and the classic yet distinct flavor of the chocolate chips. The most unique ingredient we needed was maple syrup for the peanut butter recipe but, honestly, you could skip that part if you don’t have it.
Marina’s personal favorite recipe, by far, was the chocolate chocolate chip dough. Although it had the exact same base as the normal chocolate chip dough, adding those two tablespoons of cocoa powder made it magic. It added a ton of depth to the flavor, made it an even more exciting color, and helped emulsify the texture.
Matthew, meanwhile, thought that the peanut butter cookie dough was delicious but a little unexciting. It tasted like peanut butter. Still delicious though.
