As Westmont Athletics dives into the spring season, Westmont Swim hopes to make a splash this year. Led by captains Ethan Bissel, Marisol Bucci, Mercedes Collins, Gunner Hopkins, and Rachel Tang, the team looks forward to a successful season. Both varsity, consisting of 27 swimmers, and JV, 23 swimmers, excitedly train under the guidance of two new coaches: Coach Joyce and Coach Jennifer. Supportive and encouraging, these two coaches have already made a lasting impression on the team. The Warriors not only aim to swim well at meets, but also develop relationships with their teammates and have fun. “I would say the team has a strong bond,” states senior Isabella Dockin, “everyone gets along well.” Cheer on your Westmont swimmers this season as they whip through the water!
