Continuing to support football from the sidelines, Westmont cheerleaders plan engaging cheers, perfect stunts, and choreograph exciting halftimes. With football season speeding by, the team hopes to make the most of this season’s last few home games. In addition to the spirited crowd, fantastic band, and determined football players, Junior Warrior Cheerleaders practice to join the cheer team at our next home game—October 27—and showcase their skills during a halftime show.
Hard at work, Westmont Cheer simultaneously preps for competition season by creating a 2.5-minute routine packed with stunts, jumps, and tumbling. The team hopes to present a flawless performance for their evaluation on October 21 in order to take home the win at their first competition (November 4), where judges will score their routine and many others. As reigning Norcal champs and previous participants in Nationals at Florida, Westmont Cheer maintains big goals for the upcoming competition season—all while bringing energy to the sidelines as well.
