Arthur Koeppen is a versatile and athletic individual with a passion for water sports and soccer. Originally hailing from Germany, he brought his love for swimming and soccer with him when he moved to a new life in his current home. Arthur’s skills in the pool are impressive, making him a valuable player in Westmont’s water polo and swim team. When he’s not on the soccer field or in the pool, you can find Arthur ensuring the safety of others as a lifeguard at the Campbell Community Center. His dedication to these sports and his commitment to the well-being of those around him make him a valuable member of his community.
What is your favorite sport to play?
Water polo.
How long have you been playing these sports?
I have played water polo for two years, swam for four years, and soccer for nine years.
Do you plan on swimming after high school?
No, but it would be a dream come true to play water polo after high school.
What is your favorite memory from Water Polo?
Team dinners because it is always so much fun to hang out with the team.
What are you most excited about this year?
We already have a secured spot in BVals, so I am super excited about that.
Do you have a pre-game routine?
I eat a protein bar 2 hours before the game and sometimes listen to German Music. I also warm up with my team, which is a lot of fun.
What is your favorite subject in school?
AP World History.

Sports were a good way to immerse myself in American culture and mingle with others.
