Almost everyone has had at least a minor injury in their lives. Even though I am a very careful person, I end up always taking part in mishaps. Here are some of my bloody injuries:
Pinky:
One of the first injuries I can remember includes my pinky finger. We used to have reclining chairs that ejected a footrest. We needed to manually close the footrest with our hands. While closing it, my hand slipped and my pinky finger got caught and was shut down on. My finger snapped and, long story short, I had a finger cast on for a few weeks.
Eyebrow:
What are the chances that I hurt my eyebrow, slitting it in the same exact place twice? Well, I did! When I was three years old, I was playing on the play structure when I fell and hit my eyebrow area to the ground. The collision caused a deep slit across my eyebrow, resulting in seven stitches. Unfortunately, once again, in kindergarten, I hit my head on the table, causing a deep slit across my eyebrow in the same place.
Right Wrist:
In fourth grade, I was running laps for PE when my shoelace came untied. Being ignorant at that time, I decided not to stop. As predicted, I tripped over my shoelace, causing me to fracture my wrist. For the following 4 weeks, I was forced to learn to write with my left hand.
Left Wrist:
The most recent incident occurred in 6th grade. I was biking down a hill, way too fast. I skidded and fell, breaking my wrist, chipping a tooth, and causing bruises to cover my body. On top of that, it happened during my last 3 days of school: summer was about to start. The doctors told me that I couldn’t swim for the next 6 weeks, and that was basically my entire summer.
