Growing up, my love for cats started with my gray British Blue short hair. She was smart, funny, and, best of all, very loving. Gray cats are known for being high-energy and very witty, not to mention super cute too. Plus, there are so many different types of gray cats! The types of gray cats are the British Blue, Nebelung, Russian Blue, Scottish Fold, Blue Persian and the Sphinx. Gray cats are often the cats that get adopted quickly from shelters as well. Their lovable personalities draw potential cat owner’s curiosity. A couple of fun facts about gray cats are often called blue because of their pigment skin. A long haired version of the Russian Blue is a Nebelung, which directly translates to creature of the mist in German, describing their majestic coat that is said to float delicately over their body.
