I will admit, sometimes I find myself praying for a rainy day — then I won’t have to deal with the hustle and bustle of softball. Sometimes, I want a break from the gossipy teammates, back pain, and demanding coaches. During peak softball season, I find myself on the field up to five times a week. Honestly (although Hadley would disagree), the Westmont softball team deserves a break. We practice hard and perform well in games, what’s one rained out practice going to do?
