A beauty graced our presence
From head to toe, she’s dressed in gold;
A piece of art delicately made
Those grand doors welcomed her in.
She speaks and laughs,
Voice melodic like piano music that played.
Her eyes glistened in the light
From an outsider’s point of view,
The crowd seems to celebrate her.
Tick Tock, Tick Tock,
The time ticked by; when all at once
Her dress once gold, now appeared yellow.
In such a predicament,
She wept at her shipwrecked mess,
For her misery continues on
When her attention was captured,
Just in time to watch him vanish: her love.
