The hottest new app that everyone’s using, BeReal is becoming widely popular. The notification will go off at any time throughout the day and that’s when you take a picture and post it on the app. You only have 2 minutes to post your BeReal and after that, it becomes late. You get to see what your friends are doing throughout the day, react to their BeReals, and comment! Here are some Westmont students’ opinion on the app:
Eliana Hamamjy: “ I love BeReal because I feel like it is a very welcoming and non-toxic environment, it’s also fun to see what your friends are doing throughout the day!”
Nathan Huynh: “I think Be Real is a very interesting way to connect with others because in practice, it should be a raw moment of what you’re actually doing instead of being filtered. i also like just randomly taking pictures with my friends when it’s called for.”
Jupiter Polevoi: “I like BeReal but the app glitches out too much :(“
Elika Kalami: “I don’t have BeReal. I like to stay mysterious xoxo”
Amelie Arango: “I have BeReal and I really like seeing what everyone is doing at any moment. I don’t like when people purposely save it for when they’re doing something cool, though.”
