Senior Miles Munoz is the epitome of fashion on the Westmont campus. From unique accessories such as pearl necklaces and ties to bold outerwear pieces like cardigans and sweaters, he sure knows how to catch an eye with an outfit. Not only does Miles dress to impress, but also he makes sure to do so in a distinctive, sophisticated fashion (no pun intended). Keep on keepin’ it classy, Miles!
Describe your style in three words:
Making it up.
Who are your fashion icons?
I don’t really have any fashion icons, but I like to take inspiration from any cool fits I find on Instagram and anywhere else I can find something to experiment with.
What is a go-to item in your closet?
Definitely my Doc Marten loafers right now. I’ve been constantly making outfits with them recently.
Where do you get your clothes from?
I mainly shop at thrift and secondhand stores like Crossroads and Goodwill.
What is one fashion trend you love?
I really like how workwear has gained some traction again. The pieces are just so simple yet so effective.
What is a fashion trend you hate?
Skinny jeans and biker jeans… kind of just reminds me of the 2016-2017 hypebeast era, you know?
What are some fashion tips you have?
Don’t dress based on how you think others will think of you. This will limit your creativity. Also, testing out new things is the best way to know if you truly like a style or not, so try to have fun with it!
