Ever wondered what life would be like living like a popstar? Well, a handful of students on campus who recently played at the Battle of the Bands contest at Branham could tell you all about the glamorous lifestyle. Westmont’s finest musicians make up two incredible bands on campus: The Kangaroos and The Table. The Kangaroos, a pop band, is made up of Matteo Palacios Infante, Peter Schricker, and Charline Gervais. They played Last Nite by the Strokes at Battle of the Bands, but sadly did not make finals. The Table, a rock-hybrid group, is made up of Seniors Akash Renade, Ryan Chaudoin, Arijit Goshal, Junior Ojas Joshi, and Freshman Bennet Kelly. Jamming out to Dark Necessities by Red Hot Chili Peppers, they made it to the finals and played Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers. Both bands are incredibly talented and Westmont can’t wait to see what new music they perform soon! Make sure to support these amazing musicians at their next performances. Let’s go Warriors!
