Though this is his first year at The Shield, Maddon has hit the ground running, writing his heart out for Westmont’s newspaper. His favorite aspect of student journalism is covering state and local elections and being able to do in-depth research about public policy. Maddon’s favorite section is definitely monthly politics, but he always enjoys working on Westmont News and other fun parts of The Shield. At school, Maddon is the President of the College and Career Center Ambassador Club and also serves as an Editor of Westmont’s Yearbook, The Poniard. He also serves as a Student Advisor for Congresswoman Anna Eshoo.
