Julia Kemp has been a part of The Shield since her sophomore year. Her favorite part of journalism is writing about topics that she is passionate about and expressing her creativity through website design and photoshop. Along with being an author for The Shield, Julia is also involved in LIFE Crew, CSF, the Westmont Dance Team, and Period. Julia loves writing for the OP/ED and Entertainment page, and enjoys editing creative and unique pages.
