As someone who drove 7 hours to LA to see BTS on a school day, believe me when I say I am very passionate about my favorite BTS songs. To save you some time—and argue with your current playlist—I’ve compiled a short ranking of the absolute best of BTS!
- “Home”
This is by FAR one of the best songs to ever bless my ears. Not only is it addictively catchy, but the chorus is just incredible. I am forever devastated that day 3 of the LA stop on their North America tour got Home as a surprise song only a few days after my concert!
- “Come Over”
I cried to this song during the concert—it was just perfect beyond imagination. I genuinely don’t know a single person who dislikes this song and with good reason. If there’s one song you listen to from this playlist, make it this one.
- “Love Maze”
Our surprise song for day 2 of their LA stop! To be honest, when I heard it live, it definitely took a second to recognize it (a sentiment shared by Jimin and V) but it just kept growing on me until it eventually made my top 3!
- “they don’t know ‘bout us”
One of the newer BTS songs, and my favorite from the Arirang album. Their voices just sound so silky smooth, and V’s “Yeah, damn, ooh, damn right, ooh, damn right” always seems to scratch my brain exactly right.
- “House of Cards”
The instrumental of this song is just heavenly. It’s also the first BTS song that I got Mikaela Winther to listen to other than Dynamite and Butter, so the positive association probably boosts the ranking.
