1. January
Coming back from a whole two weeks of break and seeing your friends again is one of the best feelings;, and it almost makes you forget you have 90 days of school leftto go. What’s great is that a new semester has started, and there’s a blank slate for grades, so you can come back with your first semester experiences and know what the strategy is for each class. Since the semester has just started, there are nothere’s not any tests or essays, and the homework is still pretty light.
2. October
There’s not a whole lot going on in this month, which is why it’swhat makes it second on the list. Most classes are just going through learning content and you aren’t stressing about finals yet. Halloween is at the end of the month, which is a nice bonus.
3. August
While it’s hard to come back to school after a long summer break, it’s so much fun to reunite with your friends and catch up. The schoolwork is very light during this month since it’s only the first 2-3 weeks of school, but every single teacher makes the class do some kindtype of “get to know each other” activity, which can get pretty…awkward at times. This month basically consists of adjusting to your new classes, and the feeling is sinking in that you have a whole year of school ahead of you.
4. September
Yawn. This month is pretty boring. There aren’t any breaks, but not too many tests either. The days just drag on and feel really long, but at the very least it isn’t stressful, so that’s a plus.
5. December
No school, Christmas, Secret Santa, AP World History chapter notes – it makes taking finals almost worth it. UnfortunateltyBut, finals itself is definitely mentally demanding, and the break is necessary to unwind.
6. November
The only reason this month isn’t lower is because of Thanksgiving break. There are a lot of tests before the break and finals are starting to loom over your head. It’s also starting to get really cold and gloomy outside, which doesn’t help with the mood.
7. March
This month is sooooo busy. Since it’s later ininto the year, the content is getting more difficult and the amount of homework is increasing. Not to mention, the upcoming AP tests are starting to creep into your mind. Pretty much everybody is starting to get Spring allergies, and the weather can’t decide what it wants to be. It’s extremely chaotic and not the most fun time…
8. February
There’s nothing really special about February except A LOT of homework, tests, and essays, and of course, Valentine’s Dayday. However, President’s week helps bring this up to 8th place.
9. May
May has AP exams, studying for finals, and only one day off. But the one week in between when where the teachers don’t assign any homework is the best!
10. April
What’s worse than actually taking AP exams is studying for them. To put it simply, one word to describe this month is ‘guilty’ because every moment that you spend watching Netflix or scrolling makes you feel that way. Even Spring break is stressful because AP exams are right around the corner.
