Blazing Baseball

By James Doherty

Following an energetic start to the season with a win over Cupertino, the Westmont Warriors have not performed to the best of their abilities in recent games. The Warriors currently hold a 4–11 overall record and are 0–5 in league play, leaving them with 12 games remaining to turn their season around. On the bright side, Westmont has several players excelling on the diamond—one athlete being Roman Soto, who leads the team with a .395 batting average and a .500 on-base percentage. Another key contributor is Brayden Casillas, who leads the team in hits, RBIs, and runs. It will be exciting to see what the Warriors can make of the remainder of the season. Come support your Warriors on Tuesday, April 21, as they take on the Christopher Cougars!
