Westmont High School has a lot of little secrets, from places, classrooms, but most importantly, the amazing people—specifically its athletes. We want to take a moment to appreciate our senior athletes, specifically Dominique Tsivian, a senior here at Westmont! Dominique (Domi for short) is super involved on campus—from her sport to academics, she is distinguished by her hard work ethic, and her even faster swim times. When did you start swimming competitively?
“I started swimming competitively when I was 9.”
What event do you enjoy swimming the most?
“I love the 50 free and the 100 beast.”
What is your favorite thing about swimming?
“ I love the team spirit and how competitive we get when we go against other schools”
What has been your most memorable experience with swimming?
“My most memorable moment was getting a PR in the 50 free this year.”
Do you have a pre-comp routine?
“I blast pregame music on the way to the meet.”*

Any weird rituals you do before a meet?
“Slap people’s backs to get them hype.”
Do you see a future in swimming?
What’s your favorite food?
“Chicken gyro in Greece.”
What’s your favorite class?
“I really enjoy AP Calc BC with Riffle because of how interesting he makes the class and because it relates to my major.”
What’s your favorite post-swim meal?
“Chipotle. Specifically, a bowl with white rice, black beans, steak, lettuce, sour cream, and corn.”
