Teacher Fashion: Jarrett

For this issue’s teacher fashion icon we have the one… the only… Mrs. Jarrett! She is a bright light on Westmont’s campus and every time I see her, it brightens my day. For every spirit day or fun holiday, Mrs. Jarrett always wears fun outfits, bringing joy to her classroom. Humble, her sense of fashion doesn’t seem revolutionary in her eyes, yet her students notice her magnificent style every day and aspire to be more like the wonderful Mrs. Jarrett! If you’d like to know how she manages to be such a fashionista, here is an interview for ya!

Describe your style in three words:

“Casual, comfortable, and age appropriate” 

Who is/are your fashion icons?

“My instagram influencer (i have several)”

What is a go-to item in your closet?

“My black and white converse” 

Where do you get your clothes from?

“Amazon, target, old navy, gap, and loft”

What is a fashion trend you love?

“Sneakers with everything and athleisure wear, and I love puffer vests and flip flops too! If I could wear them every day I would!”

What is a fashion trend you hate?

“I’m not a teenager so some outfits aren’t for me, but to each their own!”

What are some fashion tips you have?

“Fold your clothes so they don’t wrinkle and be comfortable in your outfit!”
