Girls Basketball’s 2526 season has officially ended with a record of 10 games won! Captains Kathryn Tanaka and Lara Macian. brought the 15 player varsity team together for a successful year. One highlight was our first-ever Rivalry Week game, in which Westmont and Prospect worked together to bring our old football rivalry to the gym floor. We filled the bleachers for a nail-biting game, ending in a Westmont win! Another highlight was sophomore Emma Hensley, who had 126 rebounds this season. Basketball player Naviya Popli shared her thoughts on the season. “It was unfortunate because a lot of our players got injured, but it helped us grow as a team.” So excited to watch girls basketball crush it again next year!
