We all know of toys that really make us think back on our childhood and appreciate the magic they brought us. However, some of them we just forget about until they reappear on our for you page on TikTok. Here are some of my favorite childhood toys that really send me that pit feeling in my stomach we like to call nostalgia.
#1. Little Live–specifically the bird one. I think I had this same pink one, and I loved it. It brings back so many memories of me struggling with what to name it and wishing it was real.
#2. Twisty Petz. Wow, my stomach just dropped thinking about it. I used to adore these. I had a million because they kept breaking every time I tried to make a bracelet. Mine went everywhere with me–I can’t believe I forgot these.
#3. FingerLings. This was one of my favorites, so sweet to look back on and remember the obsession over the different colors–there was always a new one at Target!
#4. Hatchimals. I used to beg for these. I was overly obsessed with them. I’m not sure why, but I thought they were the coolest thing on the planet. When I got one for Christmas, I practically cried!
I hope these brought back some great joys from your childhood; I know it did for me. I miss the feeling that comes with opening a new toy. It’s something that nothing can truly compare to. The funny feeling in your chest when you see these for the first time again, however… now that comes pretty close.
