During break, my diet consisted of the southern specialties, fried chicken, burgers, and fish tacos. Starting off for breakfast, I would definitely recommend Biscuit Love in the Gulch, or Frothy Monkey in The 12 South Shopping District. Biscuit Love certainly lives up to its name. You will literally fall in love with their biscuits as soon as you take a bite. The fluffy, buttery, yet flaky delight will keep you wanting more and more. Other than biscuits, they also have lots of other breakfast options that are certain to be delicious. Next, Frothy Monkey has some of the best coffee that you can get in Nashville. It almost always has a line out the door for a reason. In addition to coffee, they also have unique breakfast choices that you are sure to love. If you find yourself in Nashville, and need a good place for breakfast, I would recommend either of these places.
Next, If you are planning to stop for lunch, I recommend Miranda Lambert’s Casa Rosa. It has a cute pink and green theme with neon lights and a bright stage with live music. I ordered fish tacos and when I took a bite they were filled with lots of flavor. My sister got a quesadilla and said “it was the best quesadilla ever.” We sat there for hours watching the different artists play music and sing their hearts out.
If you are looking for an unforgettable restaurant for dinner, I would recommend either The Hampton Social or The Local. The Hampton Social has a coastal feel with lots of bright colors and meals with tons of flavor. They have lots of options for meals to suit whatever you are craving. They also have lots of fun drinks for both adults and kids. On the other hand, if you are looking for a more hometown feel, then The Local is the place for you. I have to admit, my dad dragged me to this place because he insisted that I would love it, but I really didn’t believe him. Turns out, he was right, I loved it. I was expecting your typical bar food, because at first glance that’s what it looks like. However, I was pleasantly surprised that my burger was full of flavor and one of the best I’ve had. In addition to their delicious food, they have four artists on barstools singing while you are enjoying your dinner. Each and every one of them had an amazing voice and It added to the overall experience of the restaurant.
