A Berry Grape Way To Smoothie

By Kathryn Tanaka

Smoothies, the perfect drink on par with jasmine green tea to be completely honest. It’s like eating a meal while drinking a yummy blend of deliciousness; you don’t have to fully commit to eating dinner but you still feel full! Now that I’ve established the superiority of these refreshing bevs, it’s only fair that I tell you all about my favorite at-home recipes! (For reference, I think my blender is 24 oz…but don’t quote me on that)

1. Tangoing with the Mango

1/2 Frozen Mangos

1/3 Raspberries

1/3 cup of Fage greek yogurt

1 spoonful of passion fruit jelly with seeds

Fill halfway with milk/liquid of choice

2. Chocolate Berries

3/4 Frozen Berry Medley (raspberries, blueberries, strawberries)

1 handful of chocolate chips

1/3 cup of Fage greek yogurt

6 second squeeze of condensed milk (I think it’s 1.5 spoonfuls)

Fill halfway with milk/liquid of choice

3. A Grape Idea

1/2 Frozen grapes

1/3 White Peaches (can go lower, you want to beware of the juiciness, it might make it too watery)

4 1”x1.5” cubes of ice (the size doesn’t really matter, it’s just for volumetric reference)

6 second squeeze of condensed milk

Fill halfway with Water
