College Focus: The University of Hawaii at Manoa

Ranked at #63 in the U.S by Times Higher Education, the University of Hawaii at Manoa boasts a number of great qualities for its students. UH Manoa supports a variety of majors and career paths, known for its programs for marine biology and oceanography, as well as agriculture and astronomy. Its location in the Manoa valley of Oahu provides a breathtaking campus spanning over 320 acres of  protected indigenous land, and by far one of the most beautiful campuses, and recognized as an internationally accredited *arboretum. 

UH Manoa also supports the rich cultural history of its region by incorporating native Hawaiian practices, financial aid regarding tuition, as well as scholarships and the creation of the Native Hawaiian Place of Learning initiative, created with the goal of advancing the university as a place for Native Hawaiian learning and growth. It has an acceptance rate of 65% for out-of-state students and 90% for in-state students. They accept international students as well, although they only make up around 6% of the total student body.

To conclude, the University of Hawaii at Manoa is a great choice for anyone and everyone, and its numerous strong qualities make it a well-rounded choice for both native Hawaiians and anyone interested in learning.
