For this issue’s club focus, we want to shift attention over to Baking Club to acknowledge all of the club’s success. Firsthand, as the club president, the club’s exponential growth has been nothing I’ve seen in my four years participating as a member, treasurer, and now the 25-26 serving president. Students are educated on baking knowledge and participate in fun baking activities such as cookie decorating, surprise cookie contests, and even “spilling the tea.” Honestly, coming from and seeing how eager every participant is to bake and be an active member in the club has been the most rewarding feeling.
In short, how the club works is that each month (on every other B-day thursday) we have two meetings, where we first discuss the club news, have an activity, and then announce a theme that members follow for the NEXT Baking Club meeting. Then, at the next meeting we encourage all members to bake and at the following meeting we have a giant potluck and indulge!
