While rewatching Criminal Minds, I couldn’t help but notice how many different haircuts Spencer Reid has throughout the seasons. I am going to rank my two favorites and least favorites, as some are questionable.
#1 Season 5 “Boyband Hair”
Although this haircut didn’t last long, it’s my favorite hairstyle. Mainly because character Aaron Hotchner jokingly asks if Reid has joined a boy band when first seeing his hair. Also, as a One Direction fan, I can’t help but like Reid’s “Boyband Hair!” Rating: 10/10
#2 Season 4 Episode 7
I love the longer sort of bob hairstyle; his side part also looks good with the longer left side piece. Solid haircut 9/10
#3 Slick Back Season 1
Reid’s hair during this era is comically bad. I’m surprised that with the amount of hair gel that was most likely used for his shapeless hair, Reid wasn’t a fire hazard while investigating crime scenes. Rating: 1/10
#4 Season 5 “Jesus Hair”
Quite similar to when I chopped all of my hair off during middle school in 2020. Reid’s weird, wavy middle part bob haircut is just not it. -10/10
