The Westmont Warriors football team is navigating a season marked by both challenges and growth. With a current record of 2-3, the team has demonstrated resilience and a commitment to improvement. Senior Adam Metwally encapsulates the team’s spirit, stating, “The camaraderie within the team is something special, and I’m excited to finish out the season strong.”

The Warriors began the season with a tough 44-0 loss to Woodside on August 29. However, they quickly rebounded with a 36-27 victory over Fremont on September 5. This momentum continued with a commanding 49-21 win against Hill on September 12. Despite a 42-7 setback at Live Oak on September 19, the team remains focused on their goals. Their most recent game on October 3 resulted in a 27-7 loss to Pioneer, but the Warriors are determined to finish the season on a high note.

As league play begins, the Warriors are focused on refining their skills and building upon their strengths. Senior Shawn Calderon captures the team’s mindset as they prepare for upcoming games: “With league starting, it’s time for us to bounce back and get back to where we know we can be.” With a strong sense of commitment, the Westmont Warriors are looking to make a strong finish to the season.
