The Vietnamese Student Association (VSA) is an informative, culturally immersive, and extremely inclusive club on campus. With meetings every other Friday, the club focuses on informing attendees about the rich culture of Vietnam. Whether it be the colorful cuisine or the complex language, VSA always manages to make its meetings as captivating as possible. They meet in room 37 every other Friday at lunch. In an interview with the Social Media Manager, Terryn Tran, and Treasurer, Lillian Le, they answered the questions below:
Describe your hopes this year for the club:
Terryn Tran – “I hope that a lot of people can feel welcome enough to experience some of the parts of our culture. It’s really colorful and we are proud to represent it.”
What are your favorite aspects of the club?
Terryn Tran – “I really like working with my friends on the board and putting together the presentations”
Describe your club in three words.
Lillian Le – “Fun, Vietnamese, and Food”
What can people expect from the club when they walk in the room?
Lillian Le – “They can expect a bunch of delicious foods. Like, we had ice cream for one of our meetings and a karaoke day. So it’s really just a fun club and I think people will really love it.”
