Tumbling into the 25-26 school year, Westmont’s cheerleaders are heading into their long awaited competition season, where they plan to dominate and annihilate their competition. They’ve got us flipping out, so check out the article below to find out some stats and facts about the Westmont Cheer team.

Mia Davis and Andrew Nguyen

Who are the captains?

Breanna Sullivan, Millie Gorospe, and Lily Dyer

What are some team goals for the season?

One goal we have is to progress stunts for nationals and hit new tumbling we’ve been working on, while having good technique

What is the farthest this team has gotten in the past few years?

8th Place for the JV competition team

What is your favorite part?

Bringing the spirit and showing off our school pride, and it gives a different team sense than other sports do.

Who is the team’s biggest competitor?

Oak Ridge High School from El Dorado Hills, CA

What are some strengths of the team?

We support each other, and we have really strong tumblers.

What are some grown areas for the team?

We could be sharper with motions and skills, and overall more consistency in our routines.

What are you most excited about for this season?

We are excited to go far in our competitions, and to hit our first 0, as well as team bonding to grow closer with our team.
