As a new season of field hockey kicks off, Westmont welcomes back Trish Casillas as the Varsity head coach and Haley Morin as the JV head coach. With the preseason just beginning, the team is excited for the season! Varsity player Eleanor Graham says that she is most excited “to see how our new team works together and how it will grow throughout the season”. Additionally, many players agree that they are looking forward to fun team bondings such as pre-home game team dinners, Fun Friday practices, and end-of-year slideshow nights. Captain Prisha Jain says she is “so pumped for this last season and most excited for team bondings with [her] favorite people!” Saysha Singh is also captain this year; both Prisha and Saysha have been on Westmont’s field hockey team for all four years.
