The Imola Grand Prix in Italy marked the seventh race of the twenty-four race long 2025 Formula 1 season. Since the last F1 update of the 2025 season, April 16, 2025, there have been three very entertaining race weekends.
Saudi Arabian Grand Prix (April 18–20, Jeddah Corniche Circuit)
Oscar Piastri clinched victory at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, marking his third win of the season. Starting strong, Piastri maintained his lead to finish ahead of Max Verstappen, who secured second place. Charles Leclerc completed the podium in third, delivering Ferrari’s first Sunday podium of the season.
Miami Grand Prix (May 2–4, Miami International Autodrome)
In Miami, Piastri continued his impressive form by leading a McLaren 1-2 finish, with teammate Lando Norris taking second place. George Russell of Mercedes secured third, while Verstappen finished fourth, unable to challenge the McLarens’ dominance.
Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix (May 16–18, Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari)
Max Verstappen delivered a commanding performance at Imola, overtaking pole-sitter Oscar Piastri at the first corner and maintaining the lead to secure his second victory of the season. Lando Norris finished second after overtaking Piastri late in the race, the latter settling for third. Lewis Hamilton, in his first home race with Ferrari, achieved his best finish of the season in fourth place.
