Lucky Ol’ Green

By Lili Metanovic

Have you ever noticed that when you’re feeling lucky, green seems to be near? Whether it’s a four-leaf clover or the grassy fields on a crisp morning, green is more than simply a color; it’s a lucky charm! Green has been associated with good fortune since ancient times and is seen the same today.

A prominent symbol of luck is a four-leaf clover, with the four different leaves symbolizing faith, love, hope, and luck. Four-leaf clovers represent optimism and luck for your future, so people search fields for them, hoping to bring good karma to their lives. As an add-on, perhaps obtaining a four-leaf clover will protect you from some silly leprechauns.

Green is also seen as the color of life because of its presence in nature. Nature surrounds you at all times, representing youth and renewal. The color green represents nature because it lives and dies, constantly changing, just like us humans.

When you think of money, you probably think of the color green. The color green is also associated with money, and who doesn’t love money? Money brings luck and fortune, which is why it is green.

Green has earned its reputation as a lucky color. It symbolizes growth, wealth, and magic that makes us believe luck is real. So, next time you need a little extra luck, don’t forget to reach for a touch of green.
