By Mason Vargas

Josie Todd, senior, is involved throughout the Westmont campus. One place Josie finds herself every spring season is at Westmont for Track and Field. Having been a part of track and field for 4 years now, she’s made lots of friends and memories through Track and Field. Now, Josie looks to continue her journey in her sport in her final year competing as a senior. Below is a Q&A of the wonderful Josie Todd!

What is your favorite part of Track and Field?

“My favorite part of track is meets, even though they are so long and everyone kind of hates them when they’re happening, looking back they are so fun and everyone gets to hang out together”

What is your favorite memory from Track and Field?

“My favorite memory from track is when we set up for a meet my sophomore year and everyone would just mess around and play tag in the throwing field”

What events do you participate in?

“Throwing, so shotput and discus”

What are your hopes for this season?

“I hope to get back to ccs. last year I got in but I got injured the day before so I did very poorly so I just hope to get back there this year and PR in discus and shotput”
