Dear Converse,
You are my absolute favorite shoe. I have worn you to school every single day for the past 3 years, and I have truly never felt more support. Your supple fabric molds to my feet perfectly, creating a unique experience everyone should have. Your hearty soles have carried me countless miles across the country, through the rough forests of Henry Cowell State Park, to the bustling city of New York, and across the beautiful landscapes of Yosemite National Park. Though your seams may tear and your bright-white exterior may weather, you will always be bright in my heart. Every new pair bought brings a smile to my face; every pair thrown away, a sob. Converse, we have been through a lot together. My 8th-grade graduation, freshman and sophomore year, countless hikes and trips to the beach, friend hangouts, school dances, and softball tournaments. You are a shining light in the dark, not just because of your blinding white hue. You will always be my favorite shoe, and I know we will go even farther together in the future.
