Westmont’s boys’ soccer team started their season off with a bang, by putting on a captivating 1-0 win over Saint Francis. The team is looking for success this season and is confident they can do so. Senior and Captain, Kota Brown states, “We have a good chance at winning our league and even moving forward to go to playoffs” With all of their hard work and talent, they are hopeful that they can raise the bar and shoot for the stars: CCS playoffs. Last year the team held a record of 7-3-4 while competing in the Mt. Hamilton A league division. They are competing in the same division this year with hopes to get 1st in their league. Show your support for them by coming to their first league season home game on January 10 at 7 p.m. versus Lincoln.
