Sean Combs, known as P. Diddy within the music industry, has proven himself to be the biggest turkey of the year. But where does this all begin?
Combs’ rise to fame came in the early 1990s when he became the founder of Bad Boy Records. From the 90s to the early 2000s, Combs only had accusations in regards to violence, but that was swept under the rug as he was quickly rising to fame. For the next few years, he was frequently recognized for his work towards the R&B and hip-hop genres. As well, he discovered many artists and found a way to establish himself as a cultural icon, but quickly that changed and he began to show what a jerk he truly is.
Several employees and former artists that worked for Bad Boy Records have come out and complained about unfair treatment. Many claim that they were financially exploited and that Combs never provided adequate support nor did he provide compensation for their work. Years after that, in 2015, he faced charges of aggressive behavior. Afterward, things quickly escalated and got worse.
In late 2023, there were rumors of Combs having parties, “white parties,” that turned into what the public calls “freak offs”. These drug and alcohol-filled parties featured sexual activity along with the presence of several underage sex workers. There has also been a supposed list of celebrities who attended these parties. These parties were videotaped and contain disturbing footage. As the case has intensified, there have been many victims coming forward. As of now, in 2024, there are at least 17 people suing Combs. All accusations are in regard to sexual assault, sexual exploitation and rape. Combs remains in federal custody and is awaiting a trial on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. His trial is set to be on May 5, 2025 in Manhattan. From now until then, it is thought out that there could potentially be some celebrity victims that come forward and speak of the crimes that were committed at these parties.
These federal cases are all very serious. Meanwhile, on the internet, people continually make jokes about these notorious “Diddy parties” and joke around about the items that were found in a federal house raid on Combs Los Angeles mansion made in late July/early August. Combs hurt many people emotionally and physically and proved himself to be a degenerate who deserves to rot in jail along with all who worked by his side to hurt many young women and men. I hope that at his trial on May 5, 2025, there is justice served to his victims and all who were hurt by him. He is more than a jerk, or as we call it, a “ turkey.” He simply is a disgusting human being.
