The Jo-Napping

By Gio Arteaga

Social media has recently erupted with new conspiracy theories that pop sensation Jojo Siwa has been kidnapped, and by none other than Beyoncé herself. The buzz started after Jojo thanked Beyoncé during her speech at a recent award show —the industry dance show— and while that might seem harmless to most, dedicated fans noticed something strange—Jojo hasn’t posted on social media in weeks. For someone who’s usually flooding TikTok with her interesting dance routines and YouTube with vlogs, this is weird. Comments are flooded with things like, “Is this a cry for help?!” and “Jojo, blink twice if Beyoncé has you.” Some fans even believe Jojo is now in a secret Beyoncé-run pop star bootcamp, learning top-tier dance moves.

Of course, there’s probably a perfectly normal explanation for Jojo’s absence—like a vacation, a busy schedule, or simply needing a break. But where’s the fun in that? For now, the mystery of Jojo Siwa’s sudden social media silence and her dramatic Beyoncé shoutout remains unsolved. Until Jojo reappears, her fans are left to wonder if she’s really just living her best life—or if Queen Bey has “recruited” her into pop music’s most exclusive, and highly
